The Fastest CSR2 Car From Every Brand, Ranked by Records

CSR2 MODS · October 19, 2026

Most CSR2 players have a favourite brand. Some build a garage full of Lamborghinis, some won't drive anything without a Porsche crest, and some just want to know which car their favourite maker does best. So we answered the question properly: for every brand, which car holds the fastest record, and how does it rank against everything else?

Everything below comes from our CSR2 world records sheet. We took each brand's fastest Tier 5 record, then ranked it against all 890 timed Tier 5 cars. The results upend a lot of real-world assumptions about which badges are fast.

How to read this

  • Record is the fastest known Tier 5 time for that car, in seconds.
  • Tier 5 rank is where that time places among all 890 timed Tier 5 cars on our sheet.
  • Each brand links to its page in our car collection, and each car links to its own page where we have it.
  • Records change when new times are set, so check the live sheet for the current order. The overall picture moves slowly.

All records from our sheet at the time of writing. A few smaller brands are left out of the table for length; every brand has its own page in the CSR2 car brands directory.

Five things the ranking tells you

1. The fastest car isn't from a car maker at all

Top of Tier 5 is the Back to the Future Part III Time Machine, a movie car. (We ranked every film car, including all 58 CSR2 Fast & Furious cars, separately.) Second is Honda, and not with a supercar: its best record is the Hoonigan Indy Truck. CSR2 rewards how a car launches and takes a tune, not what it would do on a real road, and the very top of the list makes that obvious.

2. Small makers punch far above their size

Apollo, a maker with only a handful of cars, holds the third-fastest record. Smaller names like De Tomaso, Rimac, Zenvo and Devel all have a car in the top twenty too. Rimac's Nevera R is also the fastest of the electric cars in CSR2. Meanwhile some of the biggest names in real-world speed sit much lower: the best Bugatti is 55th and the best Koenigsegg is 61st. We dug into why in our look at hypercars in CSR2. If you pick cars by reputation, you'll miss some of the quickest in the game.

3. The giants win on depth, not peak

Lamborghini has 85 Tier 5 records on our sheet, more than any other brand. Porsche has 77, Ferrari 74 and McLaren 65. None of them holds the very top spot, but each has dozens of competitive cars, which matters more if you race lots of events with different restrictions. A brand with one brilliant car and nothing else is a less useful garage than a brand with twenty good ones. We ranked every one of them in our guide to the best Lamborghini in CSR2, and all 65 McLarens in our best McLaren ranking.

4. Porsche and Ferrari are separated by thousandths

The best Porsche, the 963, and the best Ferrari, the 849 Testarossa, sit 16th and 17th, seven thousandths of a second apart. For the long-running argument between the two, the records call it a draw at the top, though the tiers below are a different story, as our full Ferrari vs Porsche comparison shows. We did the same for BMW, Mercedes and Audi in our guide to CSR2 German cars, where Audi comes out on top.

5. Elite Customs drags old badges into the fight

Ford's best Tier 5 record, fourth overall, is a Mustang Shelby GT350 at Elite Customs Level 36. Shelby, Nissan, Toyota and Jaguar all owe their best records to Elite Customs builds too. Without them, several of these brands would fall well down the list. We measured exactly how much those levels are worth in our Elite Customs analysis.

Brands whose best car races below Tier 5

Some brands don't have a Tier 5 record at all on our sheet. Here's their fastest car in the highest tier they reach. Remember that times can only be compared within the same tier.

Some of these are among the best cars in their own tiers. The Mini John Cooper Works GP and Alpine A110 both hold top-ten records in Tier 2, as our best cars by tier breakdown shows.

Picking a car by brand

If you race for the love of a badge, this list tells you which car to aim for. If you race to win, it tells you something more useful: the brand matters much less than the car, its build and how well it's tuned. A few practical points:

  • Check the version. Many of these records are purple-star or Elite Customs builds. The same model in a different version can be noticeably slower, as our purple vs gold star comparison shows.
  • Use the records for the tune. Look the car up on the records sheet and start from its tune, then refine it with the method in our tuning guide.
  • Build one, not five. A brand garage is fun, but one fully built car wins more races than several half-built ones. The upgrade order guide explains why.

Every brand above has its own page in our CSR2 car collection, where each car can be delivered stock or fully maxed with Stage 6 and fusion parts. If the exact version you want isn't listed, ask in chat before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

Which brand has the fastest car in CSR2?

On our world records sheet at the time of writing, the fastest Tier 5 record belongs to the Back to the Future Part III Time Machine. Of the regular manufacturers, Honda leads with the Hoonigan Indy Truck, followed by Apollo with the Apollo S.

What is the fastest Lamborghini in CSR2?

The Lamborghini SC63 'IMSA Version', which holds the fifth-fastest Tier 5 record overall. Lamborghini also has more Tier 5 records on our sheet than any other brand, with 85.

What is the fastest Ferrari and Porsche in CSR2?

The Ferrari 849 Testarossa and the Porsche 963, which sit 17th and 16th in Tier 5 on our sheet, only a few thousandths of a second apart.

Why is the fastest Bugatti or Koenigsegg so far down the list?

Real-world top speed isn't what wins a CSR2 drag race. The records reward launch, gearing and how a car responds to a tune, and on those terms the best Bugatti and Koenigsegg sit around 55th and 61st in Tier 5.
