Best SUV in CSR2: Every SUV and Pickup Ranked by Records
CSR2 MODS · October 31, 2026
Nobody picks an SUV for a drag race. In CSR2 maybe you should: one ranks seventh in its tier, ahead of supercars with far bigger reputations. We pulled every SUV and pickup record from our CSR2 world records sheet, 30 in all, to see which are genuinely quick and which are just for show.
Tier 4: where the SUVs race
| SUV | Best record | Rank in Tier 4 |
|---|---|---|
| Aston Martin DBX S | 9.494 | 7 |
| Aston Martin DBX 707 | 9.680 | 20 |
| Lamborghini Urus Performante | 9.799 | 33 |
| Ferrari Purosangue | 9.947 | 61 |
| Lamborghini Urus SE | 10.136 | 92 |
| Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT | 10.362 | 129 |
| Mercedes-AMG G 63 | 10.662 | 167 |
| Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk | 11.454 | 186 |
| Lamborghini Urus | 11.524 | 191 |
| Aston Martin DBX | 11.569 | 192 |
| Bentley Bentayga Pikes Peak | 12.210 | 217 |
| Bentley Bentayga | 12.257 | 223 |
Best record per SUV at the time of writing, out of 232 timed Tier 4 cars.
The DBX S is the answer. Seventh in a tier of 232 means only six cars in all of Tier 4 have a faster record, and it's a gold-star record, so a purple version could go faster still. Our purple vs gold star study found purple typically adds a few hundredths.
The version matters more than the badge
The biggest lesson in the table is how far apart the same nameplate can be:
- Aston Martin DBX: the original ranks 192nd. The DBX 707 is 20th and the DBX S is 7th.
- Lamborghini Urus: the original ranks 191st, the Urus SE 92nd and the Urus Performante 33rd.
- Bentley Bentayga: the Pikes Peak version barely moves it, 217th against 223rd.
The original Urus and DBX are near the bottom of Tier 4, more than two seconds behind the DBX S. Newer isn't automatically faster, though: the Urus SE came after the Performante and ranks 59 places lower. Check the record for the exact version before you build.
Pickups
The trucks hold their own:
- Jeep Gladiator Rubicon: 101st in Tier 4, with Tej’s Fast & Furious Gladiator level with it.
- RAM 1500 TRX: 104th, almost exactly level with the Jeep.
- Ford F-150 SVT Raptor: 11th of 32 in Tier 2 at Elite Customs Level 50, but 26th at Level 0.
Both Raptor records are three-star cars, so that gap of 15 places comes from Elite Customs alone. Our Elite Customs analysis covers how much each level adds.
Tier 2: the Evoque
On our sheet, Tier 2's only SUV is the Range Rover Evoque. Shana’s purple-star Evoque ranks 19th of 32 and the standard gold-star car 24th. Fine for a collection, but not a car to chase records with.
SUVs tune differently
A few SUVs break from the usual Tier 4 setup:
- Tyres: 145 of the 232 Tier 4 records use the 0/100 tyre setting. The DBX 707 runs 59/41, and its two records are the only ones in the tier on that setting.
- Final drive: the typical Tier 4 record runs a final drive around 2.8. The Urus family runs taller, from 3.24 on the Performante to 4.42 on the original Urus.
The fastest one, the DBX S, runs a conventional setup, so there's no single SUV tune: use each car's own record tune. Our best tune study shows how much setups vary, and the tuning guide explains what each setting does.
None in Tier 5
Every SUV and pickup on our sheet races in Tier 2 or Tier 4. Not one appears in Tier 5, so if you want to race the top tier, the SUVs stay in the garage. For the brands behind them in Tier 5, see our guides to the best Lamborghini, McLaren and Aston Martin, and Ferrari vs Porsche.
Which SUV should you build?
- The fastest SUV: the Aston Martin DBX S, 7th in Tier 4.
- A Lamborghini: the Urus Performante, 33rd, not the original Urus.
- A Ferrari: the Purosangue, 61st.
- A pickup: the Gladiator Rubicon or RAM TRX, nearly level around 100th.
- Avoid for racing: the Bentaygas and the original Urus and DBX, all near the bottom of Tier 4.
Every SUV linked above is in our car collection, deliverable stock or fully maxed.
